When you were a young student, the Fire Drill was one of the most enjoyable things that could happen to you. The feeling of getting to ditch out of a boring class was one of the best feelings in the world. It was a reprieve from monotony that came once in a blue moon. You got to walk around, socialize a bit, and just get your mind off the boring stuff you were learning.
Even now, as working folk, we are again faced with boredom. Fire Drills are more scarce, but just as enjoyable. Luckily, working comes with (hopefully) more freedom than the rigors of grade school. We can take personal "fire drills" once in a while.
