Random Bad #10 - Broken Internet Connection

In this day and age, the internet is a tool that most of us can't live without. We use it for work, communication, and leisure. We often take a good internet connection for granted. When the connection is working fine, we don't appreciate it. When the internet fails, we freak out and scream obscenities about how much we hate technology.

We all know the process. You start by restarting your computer. If that doesn't work, you restart the router. When that fails, you restart the modem. If that still doesn't work, unplug everything for 3 minutes, and then try again. If none of that works, it's either going to be a big pain in the ass to get things up and running again, or it's a problem that you have no power over.

In any case, broken internet is very frustrating, but when it happens, you should look at it as a short break from technology. Go for a walk, read a book, exercise. We all remember life without the internet. When did we get so dependent on it?
